How can I pay for my textbooks at the NDSCS Bookstore?

The NDSCS Bookstore accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and NDSCS Gift Cards.

Can I charge my course materials to my student account?

Financial Aid: Students who have completed the FAFSA and qualify may charge course materials and supplies. Students must have a remaining credit on their student account after tuition, course fees, residential life, and meal plan fees have been applied.

  • Financial aid covers required and optional textbooks and course supplies such as pens, pencils, paper, calculators, and backpacks. Clothing and gift merchandise cannot be charged to financial aid.
  • Shipping charges may be applied to financial aid.
  • Select Campus Charge Account during checkout.
  • Rental textbooks require a credit card on file. The card is only charged if the rental is not returned at the end of the semester.

Third Party: Students may charge textbooks and supplies to a third-party payee (such as an employer or government agency). Prior written authorization must be on file in the Business Affairs Office before charging.

What should I do if a book is unavailable through the NDSCS Bookstore?

Occasionally books may be temporarily unavailable due to vendor delays or high demand. If a required textbook is out of stock, we encourage you to pre-pay to reserve a copy when it becomes available. Class attendance is still required even if you have not yet received your textbook.
